Freebird Airlines

Established in 2000 on a strong infrastructure amongst Turkish private air carriers and started operations in 2001, Freebird Airlines operates in Europe and Middle East with the fleet of 10 Airbus A320s. Freebird has three core activities: passenger/cargo transport, engineering & maintenance and flight crew training. These activities are carried out under the regulation of the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Freebird is a company of Gözen Holding, rendering services in the field of representation, fuel, supervision, brokerage, Security and training. Mekin GÖZEN and Mete BOZYİĞİT are the founders of Gözen Holding with a respected past of more than 40 years in the sector and Freebird continues its operations with its experienced team under the management of Selim TÜKENMEZ.

By striving to attain excellence as an airline, Freebird Airlines intends to generate value for its customers, employees and shareholders. Thus it is the first airline company in Turkey that has been granted ISO 9001:2000 Certification by TUV Rheinland in 2002 and has been again the first charter airline that achieved IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) Registration granted by IATA (International Air Transport Association) in July 2006.

Freebird Airlines Europe

Freebird Airlines Europe (FHM) started its operations within EU with its first Airbus A320 aircraft (9H-FHB) on February 20th, 2019 and expanded its fleet by taking delivery of its second Airbus A320 aircraft (9H-FHA) and third Airbus A320 aircraft (9H-FHY). The Airline, which is duly registered under the Laws of Malta, has its Headquarters in Malta, the base from where it will discharge its operational and technical obligations according the EASA regulations and the National Laws of Malta as regulated by Maltese Civil Aviation Authority (TM CAD). Freebird Airlines Europe would eventually extend its operations in Europe and other regions with its growing fleet.
