Quality Standards

With the mission to satisfy the needs of our passengers in the best and prompt way, we work out a Quality Management System in all departments since the date of our establishment in order to offer an exclusive service. Our Quality Management System which we exercise in all our units has been officially examined and successfully passed all the tests required to obtain the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate carried out by the internationally accepted reliable foundation TÜV Anlagentechnic GmbH Certification Unit with head office in Cologne. Upon inspections performed by TÜV, it was granted the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 (TÜV CERT) certificate for all units from the service within cabinet to the technical department, and thus Freebird Airlines has attained a remarkable achivement by becoming the first airline in Turkey with all departments recognized by German Inspection Institute -TÜV Rheinland as having met the qualifications of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

On March 24, 2006, Freebird has become the first charter airline registered IOSA Operator in Turkey that has successfully completed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and is now joining with other IOSA certified airline operators, in the worlds top flight safety group. This fact testifies to the high appreciation of the Freebird operations by authoritative international aviation organizations.

By passing the IOSA audit, Freebird has achieved the highest international standards of flight safety and will continuously strive to implement higher flight safety standards.

Having become the first charter airline registered as an IOSA Operator in the Turkey, we trust this achievement will be seen as a model to follow for other carriers in the Turkey.

IOSA is the first worldwide aviation standard to include the major aspects of an airlines ability to deliver a safe operation: Flight Operations, Operational Control and Flight Dispatch, Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance, Cabin Operations, Aircraft Ground Handling, Cargo Operations, and Operational Security. The IOSA Programme is recognised by the member airlines of IATA (International Air Transport Association) as a benchmark for airline safety and quality.
