Established in 2000 on a strong infrastructure amongst Turkish private air carriers and started operations in 2001, Freebird Airlines operates in Europe and Middle East with the fleet of 8 Airbus A320s. Freebird has three core activities: passenger/cargo transport, engineering & maintenance and flight crew training. These activities are carried out under the regulation of the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Freebird is a company of Gözen Holding, rendering services in the field of representation, fuel, supervision, brokerage, Security and training since 1979.

Which aircraft type does Freebird Airlines have?

Operating with a young and modern fleet, Freebird Airlines flies with 8 Airbus A320 type aircraft.

Can i check in online?

We do not have online check in service.

How many kilograms is my baggage allowance?

The baggage allowance to be carried free of charge is clearly indicated on the way bill (the ticket or any such other way bill issued otherwise). Carriage of any baggage that is in excess of the baggage allowance granted for the passengers, or of any special baggage shall be subject to surcharge. Excess baggage allowance or special baggage (golf bags, etc.) allowance may be purchased through the website of Freebird Airlines for any excess baggage in excess of the baggage allowance as indicated in the contract of carriage.

You can purchase excess baggage for a better price on our Freebird Airlines web site before your flight.

How much is charged for excess baggage or excess weight?

If your baggage is heavier than the limit mentioned in the transportation rules, you will be charged €8 in cash at the counter for each kilogram.

Can I shop from duty free on board the aircraft ?

We have duty free sales on board the aircraft depending on the destination. You can pay either in cash or by credit card, as you wish.

Can I purchase food and drinks on board the aircraft ?

You can purchase food and drinks on board the aircraft. You can purchase these products in cash, only. You can purchase these products for a better price on our Freebird Airlines web site before your flight.

Do I have the right to cancel, change or refund the additional services purchased?

You don't have the right to cancel, change or refund the additional services unless the flight is cancelled.

During what hours do the counters provide service?

The counters will be able to provide you with service 3 hours before your scheduled flight.

What can I do to make a booking for a sports equipment?

You can purchase a sports equipment booking on the special baggage section.

When will be the deadline of the additional services that i require?

You can reserve your seats and purchase special baggages and extra weight allowances up to 6 hours, order menus and special meals up to 72 hours before scheduled flight time.
